Our Beliefs

 

The Bible is the Inspired, Infallible, and Revealed word of God. The product of Holy men of old, who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. We accept the New Covenant as recorded in the New Testament. 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1Thessalonians 2:13: Hebrews 4:12; 1 Peter 1:23-25; 2 Peter 1:21.

 

There is only one God; but manifested in three persons (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 3:16-17; Mark 12:29; John 15:26; Hebrews 4:12; John 16:28; Philippians 2:6.

 

The Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, and His bodily Resurrection and Ascension. Luke 24:57; Acts 1:9; Romans 4:25; 1Corinthians 15:3-4.

 

Man, his Fall and Redemption Through The Blood of Jesus Christ. On the cross, Jesus Christ became sin and sickness, providing both salvation and healing for all. Psalm 103:3. Salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the law, and is made operative by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ; producing works acceptable to God. Ephesians 2:8; Romans 3:24.

 

Eternal Life and New Birth: man's first step toward salvation is Godly sorrow, that worketh repentance. The New Birth is necessary to all men. 1 John 5:12; 2 Corinthians 7:10.

 

Water Baptism: Baptism in water is by immersion and is a direct commandment of our Lord. It is a symbol of the Christians' identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:36-39.

 

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit: The baptism in the Holy Spirit and Fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to those who are believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the New Birth. Being accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues. Acts 1:8; John 14:16-17; Acts 2:1-4; Acts 2:38-39.

 

Divine Healing: Healing is for the physical ills of the Human Body by the power of God, through the prayer of faith, and by laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ. Mark 16:18; James 5:14-20: Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24.
